As a teacher thousands of students passed through my door. One student and one student only cared enough to organize a parade through my neighborhood after COVID struck his eighth grade year! Car after car, student after student left gifts and signs on my sidewalk. Geren, you are the one I will never forget because you cared enough to make sure our year of Algebra ended on a happy note! You are a very special young man who knows how to persevere and set goals for yourself!
In the challenging storybook of life, some individuals emerge with inspiring tales of resilience, determination, and leadership. I hope others can benefit from the circumstances of the remarkable journey I have been on the last four years. In spite of a major back injury, I have not only conquered physical adversity but also excelled in academics, and took on prominent leadership roles in both school and community settings.
